The
Nether Abbey
Hotel started life as a grand seaside
house at the turn of the 19th century. As with
many buildings of this era, each room has its
own character with high ceilings on the first
floor and coombes and fireplaces in most
second-floor rooms - the original servants
quarters. However, one thing that all twelve
rooms and bathrooms have in common is that
they have all been renovated to an
exceptionally high standard.

No detail
has been overlooked. Most of the fixtures
and furniture were not only made
specifically for us but are in fact
one-off designs, including the beautiful
crystal light-shades. and the hand-woven
woollen throws.
Each room comes with a flat screen plasma
TV with access to 85 free view channels, and if you need to keep in touch - WiFi is available throughout the
hotel! |

All of our bathrooms are
fitted out with "Grohe" fittings and furnished
with beautiful limestone. Re-plumbing the hotel
as part of the renovations means that mains
pressure is available throughout with masses
of piping hot water. Our recent inspection by
VisitScotland (May 2007) rated the bedrooms as
being of an exceptionally high standard.
We look forward to welcoming
you to the new look Nether Abbey Hotel. |
